Kärbholz. Die vier Jungs aus dem nordrhein-westfälischen Ruppichteroth, mitten in der grünen Lunge Kölns, machen nunmehr seit dem Jahr 2005 zusammen Musik. Und das sehr erfolgreich, wenn man sich die letzten Releases der Band anschaut. „Rastlos“ von 2013 ging aus dem Stand auf #16 und der Nachfolger „Karma“ von 2015 sogar auf #7 der deutschen Album-Charts, bis man mit dem letzten Longplayer „Überdosis Leben“ mit #2 nur knapp die Poleposition verpasste. Auch ein Live Album und die Neuaufnahme ihres ersten Albums „Spiel des Lebens“ von 2007 schafften es mühelos in die Top 20. Es ist klar: So klein und unauffällig das Heimatdorf der Band zu sein scheint, die Musik der Band ist es nicht.
