Merendine formerly known as Merendine Atomiche was formed in Cittadella, North East Italy in 1995.
In 2000, Merendine produced their first mini Cd. "The Holy Metal". Five songs of melodic thrash metal. The track "Mental Agony" had been chosen as one of the songs of Thrash metal encyclopedia by Cherry Red Records and rockdetector.com.
In 2002, after a 3 month tour, Merendine entered Sunlight Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. With the support of producer, Tomas Skogsberg. The album had two key guests: Jeff Waters, (Annihilator) and Anders Lundemark (Konkhra). The album titled "Walk across fire" contains 8 tracks of thrash metal with some hard rock influences. Walk Across Fire, was released by French label Deadsun Records in 2003. In the winter of 2005 the band once again entered the studio to start work on their second Full length record. After 2 months, they completed the final touches on "Raw" at New Sin Studios, in Italy. Raw was produced by Jack Frost (Seven witches & Savatage). They signed a new deal with Mausoleum Records. The album was finally released in the spring of 2006. they did select dates in Italy with Agnostic Front and Entombed. In August they once again entered the studio to start work on "Rude Rebel Brotherhood". This time the band enlisted Chris Caffery (Savatage & Trans Siberian Orchestra) to produce the new album. Caffery also took the realms on some of the guitar solos. The album contained 10 tracks with a stronger thrash influence. They signed a new worldwide deal with Spain’s Locomotive Music. After releasing "Rude Rebel Brotherhood" in 2009., they also did some off festival dates with Motorhead in Italy with other italian band Extrema. Then jumping onto the Doro Pesch and Krypteria tour for Germany, Switzerland and Italy in fall 2009. The song "Rude Rebel Brotherhood" and its video become also part of and extreme woman wrestling pay per view event in USA.
In fall 2011 the band recorded : "New World Disorder". Before to release it, the band toured entire Europe again with Doro Pesch as now as supporting band in the fall of 2011. They also had select one off dates with Testament, Symphony-
