After a great gig at the Bang Your Head Open Air they presented a rough mix version to the first journalists. The new album of the Astral Doors - Jerusalem is a concept album. At the moment it is still in the mix by Daniel Bergström. It is clear already - that this is the strongest Astral Doors Album so far.

The first album found a lot of fans, and the first Club Tour hat great ticket sales. And of course - Bob Pantella, Jim Baglino and Garret Sweeny wrote new songs during their Tour activities with Monster Magnet. We can`t wait to listen to the 2. Riotgod Album. It should be more rock - and stronger - but of course - it is Stoner Rock - and nothing else.
Maybe we have a little surprise in the pipeline, but sofar there are no more releases planned in 2011. |

It all begun with a meeting of two musicians who found that they shared the same musical vision. Those two were Daniel Magdic, who has a background as guitarist and composer of Pain of Salvation, and Magnus Karlsson. They teamed up with BjörnTauman and Mathias Henrysson to start the band Cudfish. Cudfish was put to the grave when Magnus and Björn went to Los Angeles to study at LAMA (Los Angeles Music Academy). When they got back from LA Daniel, Magnus and Björn decided to pick up the work and started Renaissance of Fools. They started to rehearse and write songs, but at the time they didn't have a singer. In 2008 they met the very talented singer Kjell Bergendahl and the line-up was complete. They soon started recording their debut album which was mixed by PelleSaether in Studio Underground. The mix was then sent to Alien Beans studio in USA where it was mastered by Ty Tabor of Kings X. The album also contains a guest appearance by Per Wiberg from Opeth. |

Their debut CD "Hypocrite" immediately found favor with critics and listeners alike, propelling them to the forefront of metal's hierarchy. Experts at their craft, V.O.X. has earned song writing credits on Van Halen's DVD entitled "The Early Years," as well as endorsements with ESP, Charvel and Hartke. The line-up includes Don Chaffin on lead vocals, guitarist Nick Gertsson, drummer John Macaluso, and bassist Bob Brennan. With the task of completing their second full length CD at hand, V.O.X. has added guitar wunderkind David Mercado to the line-up. Over the past three years, V.O.X. has shared the stage with Paul Di'Anno, Kamelot, Godsmack, Symphony X, Alice in Chains, Dokken, Zebra, and Twisted Sister, proving their mettle as a premier live act on the Eastern Seaboard.

Throughout 2010 EAT THE GUN have been working on their latest album titled RUNNER. Together with producer Toni Meloni (The Sorrow, Apokalyptische Reiter, Toten Hosen), the trio created songs that are both intuitive and gripping and at the same time thought-provoking and disturbing. EAT THE GUN provide catchy and driving modern stadium rock, ready for the stage - nothing more and nothing less. Metalville - A Great Summer
After a more or less conservative spring and after the change to Rough Trade we have a little Metalville Summer.
The releases of Shraphead and Degradead have received very good response and with our bands Black Water Rising and The Quill we have luck - and 2 Highlights. Top results in a lot of Music Magazines, in german Rock Hard and Metal Hammer Top ten positions in the Soundchecks - this is more feedback than we expected. - Many thanks to the media for the support.
We also found new partnerships. Current merchandise of the bands Astral Doors and The Quill is coverend by Art-Worx and Nuclear Blast handels currently our mailorder business. |

We are excited about the second Riotgod Album in Fall 2011 as well as a brand new studio album of Astral Doors and of course we can`t wait to see the first Degradead DVD in Winter.
Oh yes - and we are going on tour - DESERT FORCES OF ROCK 2011
Under this flag unite 3 Metalville bands, that are very rare in our territories. Astral Doors, Riotgod, and The Quill together in a package is the ultimate club concert surprise for all Retro Rock Fans.
With the experience after touring with Grave Digger, Blind Guardian and Doro - and the first studio album since 1,5 years the ASTRAL DOORS are proud to be back on tour. After the successful debut album and minitour in 2010 RIOTGOD is back with the second album and ready for the 2nd tour. The package is complete with Swedens Stoner Rock Band THE QUILL. After 5 years the band is hungry to be back on the road. The new studio record will be released in July 2011 and might be the best of their carreer.

The Quill is back! Five years after the most recent studio album the band is ready to once again spread its musical gospel. The new album "Full Circle" is packed with heavy rock firmly rooted in the seventies but vibrant and updated rather than retro. Yes, there's a new twist to the sound. Less is more, if you will. The songs are sharp, direct and catchy, built around big riffs, big grooves and big hooks. Just check out "Sleeping with your enemy" and try to get that chorus out of your head. Surrender to the up-tempo outburst of energy that is "Medicine". And physically feel how "Bring it on" simply rocks like a motherfucker. Very much classic rock and yet contemporary in the Foo Fighters / Queens Of The Stone Age vein. Needless to say, The Quill is a band reborn. This is what they are meant to do. Great music and great shows will always find an audience.

Think the Brought Low but with radio-friendly songs or the Black Label Society with more of a Southern spin and you're close to the sound of Brooklyn's Black Water Rising. Featuring former Dust to Dust vocalist Rob Traynor, former Stereomud guitarist Johnny Fattoruso, former Boiler Room drummer Mike Meselsohn, and bassist Oddie McLaughlin, the band began gigging around New York City. Hard rockers BLACK WATER RISING are proud to announce the european release of their self-titled debut album. The self-titled debut from BLACK WATER RISING, is a collection of soul baring, angst ridden, riff heavy material that is proudly anchored in the foundations of traditional hard rock song writing. Its giant guitar driven monster riffs are served up on a bed of crushing grooves with soaring melodic vocals and big hooks. Basically, NO FRILLS RIFF ROCK!

Metalville - the next Step
Metalville has changed in a few territories the distribution partner. In Germany, Austria and the Netherlands we are now distributed by Rough Trade.

 Shraphead from Eidskog, Norway has existed since August 2004. Within these 4 years the band have played many shows as support for famous bands and packed shows as headliners, and received great feedback from audience and media. In 2006 the band release their their ep named "Ageless" which contained 4 songs the band had written from the beginning. After the release they went on a successful Norwegian tour and also played a couple of festivals later that summer. Early 2008 Shraphead went into the studio again, this time with other producers and new material. After spreading the result all around the world the band has gotten unbelievable feedback. Their debut album is yet to come, but the music has already gotten a lot of exciting feedback. At Metal Hammer already Demo of the month - hopefully album of the month with us in 2011.
More is yet to come, of course we have more in the back hand…….
We are excited about the second Riotgod Album in Fall 2011 and of course we can`t wait to see the first Astral Doors DVD in Winter.

DEGRADEAD new at Metalville
A new Style, a new Band at Metalville
The year 2010 is almost over, but shortly befroe ending Swedens most talented Newcomer DEGRADEAD signed by Metalville.
Jesper Strömblad (ex- In Flames) named the band "The Future of Metal" and helped them at the start of the carreer. The Debut"Till Death Do Us Apart" was classified at Rock Hard Magazine as 10x Dynamite. The second album " Out of Body Experience" topped the previous release and all expectations by entering the swedish charts on position Nr. 48.
We are waiting excited for the new album " A World Destroyer" in Spring 2011.
