Auf „Positive Aggressive„ haben GODSLAVE alte Traditionen wieder
aufleben lassen und sich in einer Zeit, in der echte Kontakte kaum
möglich sind, an die Beziehungen zu den Menschen on the road
erinnert, die von jetzt auf gleich Teil der Familie wurden.
Daher können sich die Hörer*Innen auf zwei Gastbeiträge besonders
freuen: Einmal hat Britta Görtz von CRITICAL MESS, auf „How about
NO?“ unverkennbare Backing Vocals beigetragen. Außerdem schließt
sich mit dem Gastsolo von Damir Eskic der Kreis einer bereits 10
Jahre andauernden Freundschaft mit DESTRUCTION, die mit zwei
Soli von Gitarrist Mike beim 2011er Album „Into the Black“ das erste
Highlight zeigte.
Einher mit dem Release des Albums geht eine Dokumentation über
den Kampf der Band, über alles, was sie im letzten Jahr an den Rand
der Auflösung gebracht hat. Mit „Positive Aggressive“ ist der nächste
Schritt bereits gegangen: Volle Fahrt voraus, schonungslos ehrlich, mit
einem offenen Fenster in die Seele der anderen.

But GODSLAVE ask the listener the all-important question: what do you do with the energy released by the aggression? Do you just want to destroy everything out of anger or do you also want to build something new?
